French is our darkest roast and what we use exclusively for espresso in our shop. The oiliness of these beans allows for a perfect crema, as heat causes the oils deep in the bean to come to the surface during the roasting process. Robust and bold, it makes a perfect shot of espresso but is also well-liked and versatile in its use as a daily brew.
We ship only whole bean coffee to preserve the freshness of our beans. When using any of our beans for cold brew, we recommend allowing a few days for off-gassing. Store at room temperature in an airtight container. We do not recommend storing our coffee in the refrigerator or freezer.
